Obstetrics - obgyn resistant to prescribe birthcontrol?:Health care

What is "Obstetrics " ?

Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "obgyn resistant to prescribe birthcontrol?"

I have a kind of unique issue.

I have redjndant/excessive vaginal mucosa/urethral tissue that is highly sensitive and prevents vaginal penetration. Coupled with gender dysphoria and a small phobia, I don't really want to use that hole. I only do anal and oral sex.

I have had friends express concern over the fact I have zero birth control besides condoms. I considered birthcontrol and brought it up with planned parenthood and my school's clinic. Both were very hesitant to give me birthcontrol and emphasized how unlikely I am to get pregnant and how useless it would be. I did not get a chance to bring this up when I saw the obgyn at my local hospital, but her assistant said basically the same things.

Is this common? Should I be concerned about not having birth control?
