Obstetrics is the field of study concentrated on pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. As a medical specialty, obstetrics is combined with gynecology under the discipline known as obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN), which is a surgical field.

My experience over Obstetrics "What do I do?"

My girlfriend recently took a pregnancy test and it came back negative, but now is around the time she would normally get her period and it hasn’t came yet. We took the test 2 weeks after intercourse. What should we do now?

Edit: She also doesn’t have any signs of pregnancy and we last took a pregnancy test on the 20th of June and her last period was on the 2nd of may.
