My experience over Obstetrics "Post-ovulation bleeding for 8 days?"

My husband and I are trying to conceive and we’re on month 5 after getting my IUD out in April. My menstrual cycles were fairly regular even after stopping hormonal birth control, but I learned I tend to ovulate a little later in my cycle - typically day 16/17 in a 28 day cycle. After a couple months without my IUD I began to spot a little around ovulation, which I recognized as a new “normal” for my cycles.

This one is weird though - we had sex 2 days pre-ovulation and weren’t able to continue trying this cycle since my husband got sick. Since ovulation (with a positive OPK) I’ve had 8 days of light spotting. Definitely not a period - just a little pink/brown as I wipe.

I called my OBGYN and she’s not terribly concerned, but I made an appointment anyways. However, her next availability is in November 💀 Is this something I should be concerned about?
