My experience over Obstetrics "Does breast tenderness (from period) affect a breast exam?"

Hi, I'll be having a obgyn appointment on the couple days before my period starts or during the actual start of my period. My question is:

• Will breast tenderness affect the breast exam? Like the results?

It tried finding information but I could only find informaiton about self-exams, not exams done by actual doctors.
